Impact Masterlab: Face Slapping

In this partnered MasterLab, taught by @LadyFreyAnna and @redselfties, we are completely focusing on slapping your partner’s face in the safest manner possible. Of course, nothing we do is completely safe, but you’ll learn all you can do to mitigate these risks. 

Face Slapping is such a common fantasy in our community, we see it included regularly in many types of play, usually combined with other forms of impact… but how do we do this so we don’t end up having to deal with the real life, painful, long term consequences from a blown eardrum or a dislocated jaw? Could it also be the whole focus of your scene? Yes, it can be!!

Many, wise to the very real possible consequences, won’t engage in face slapping no matter how much their partner wants to. Some have been slapped before and it was a very negative experience. It was an unwanted, unwelcome shock, but at the same time it was a shockingly thrilling thing. Now they’re curious about it, but they wish to experience it with someone who knows what they’re doing, someone who’ll make sure they’re as safe as can be, in a controlled environment that will provide them with a safe space to experience it. 

We’ll explore face and head anatomy and the matching health concerns we must address. The head holds several vital systems that provide us information we need to navigate our world. With our faces we interact with the world, we express ourselves at work, in our relationships, in our personal lives.  Our faces are visible to most everyone, most of the time. We’ll discuss the damages possible if face slapping is done in a manner that doesn’t protect the receiving partner. 

This will be a very interactive lab where we’ll demonstrate and you’ll lab with your partner. You’ll feel first hand how much finesse is required and how to maintain good control of your hands, how to accurately have your best aim, how to read your partner’s tells when they are tensing up or relaxing into play. 

By the end of this MasterLab, you’ll have learned the best way to use your hands to slap a face in a way that brings enjoyment to both of you and keeps you both in the best position to enjoy it for a long time to come. It really can be what you fantasized it could be. 

This class requires a partner. Tickets are sold per person. Tickets are available on a sliding scale to promote inclusivity and accessibility. Please choose the ticket price that makes this event accessible to you. All ticket types provide the same access to the event.

This MasterLab workshop is open to members only. If you don’t have your membership yet, you can sign up online or come by to see the space and sign up in person.

@LadyFreyAnna (she/her) is a lifestyle dominant who’s been an active member of the Ottawa community since 2014. She’s known for her dynamic and creative impact play style, Florentine flogging and her extensive impact toy collection.

She’s been a regular feature at several explos and open house events since 2018. There, she can be found running her impact station, introducing attendees to the wide world of impact play, both giving or receiving. She creates a fun, welcoming and informative atmosphere that encourages participation and fosters a better understanding of safe, sane and consensual impact play.

She became an impact educator in 2022. In her classes, open labs and workshops, she guides participants through various activities, providing an interactive, hands on approach to learning safety in impact play and having fun with it. She makes sure that each participant progresses in their impact learning journey, refining and expanding their skills with their hands, floggers, canes, paddles etc.

In her hands, just about anything has the potential to be an impact toy.

@redselfites (any) has been bottoming for impact since she started going to parties 3 years ago. They’ve been leading discussions on consent in relationships as well as kink. They’re joining forces with @LadyFreyAnna to apply these concepts for impact play. Whether Red's learning or co-teaching, you can be sure he's having a great time!
